This Saturday we were about our Fathers business. Rain, sleet or snow Food Boxes got made and distributed. Under Gods grace, Anthony Smith will make it happen, a tarp was purchased about a week and a half ago to replace the old one that the wind and the weather elements destroyed, straight tatered. He got us under the barely fitted, supposed to be 10x12 tarp to do the boxes dry from the rain just in time, God held back the rain so we would stray dry, "Thank you Lord", for that. On and off raining, 12pm hits and we realize our biggest donors isn't coming, then we get a text reassuring what we found out. Be we move with God so nothing will defeat us. NOT poor management, NOT late notice, NOT a no show, NOTHING! This week the Food Boxes got more than one package of meat, veggies, cereal, a can good or two, bread and some on. We were here to God's work! We stand STRONG on that. TESTIMONY of God's grace and love over us, our family and organization. Oh, today was also Motor City Makeover so the park got cleaned up in the rain with some awesome volunteering too. These ladies and children came and did their thang even in the rain. Thank you all for allowing your hearts to giving and full. Donors of today Whole Foods Midtown, Target, and Seasons Market. Volunteers: Dallas, Tina Harper, Uncle Howard, John Phillinganes, Shon, Carolina Frederick and Miss McClure. Scripture of the week: 1 Corinthians 5:17KJV
